Because I work "in hand" this is a little wrinkled but I was excited to finish this month's assignment!  I was surrounded by Jacaranda trees in bloom last month here in Southern California and was inspired to change the colors on the main tree in this segment to somewhat represent one ... I changed the lighter green to purple and then stitched purple french knots over the darker green ... it is hard to see here but the green still pops through a bit.  Phew!  Lots of stitching!! But I love the challenge and use it as an excuse to stitch into the wee hours of the night.
