Here is a little of my work in progress on Serenity Harbor.  I should have just stitched today instead of making some soup in the crockpot but it is so cold and rainy here and making some soup sounded like a good idea.  I would much rather stitch.  I am loving this already and just have fallen in love with these colors.   I am stitching mine on 40 ct. Parchment by Weeks Dyeworks with mostly DMC and a few overdyed threads.  I find myself looking forward to stitching on this and will have the first block done soon.

  5. Very nice! Are you using overdyes for the flowers? If so, would you share which ones? Thanks

  6. Hi Marcia, Yes I am using Weeks Dyeworks Berry Splash for the dark shade on the roses but using the called for DMC for the 2 other shades for the beautiful roses. Just for everyone's information, I love using overdyed threads when I can and may add things as I go but I am also going to use Weeks Dyeworks Seaglass for the color of the sea. I just love how it looks like the color in the photo. :)
